Flood Relief
When Hyderabad was hit with floods, we distributed food and water to residents of Begumpet whose homes had drowned in water.
We had provided continuous support and bedsheets to all the needy with our own money, without depending on any outside donations.
During floods at the time of Covid, we distributed Rs. 10 lakh worth of groceries to flood victims.
Second Wave of Covid
During the second wave of Covid, we have distributed more than a lakh home-cooked meals for a period of 60 days without fail.
To do this, I had to take a loan against my Mangal Sutra as well due to shortage of funds.
Aid During Covid
Covid has elevated our service activities to another level.
We have distributed more than 100,000 rice bags and provision kits, each kit costing Rs. 3000/- per kit.
Empowering Livelihoods
We have provided livelihood by providing autos and setting up small businesses.
Medical Assistance
We have distributed food to hospitals as well.
Assisted with medical help for many.
Sanitary Distribution
In 2020, we distributed sanitary napkins during Covid, with the support from friends.
Our Reach
Niharika Foundation currently works in the State of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. During Covid we have extended support to people in the form of food distribution & medicines .
